Did the WBSS cruiserweight tourney have any bad scorecards?

Off the top of my head I can't think of any, despite there being champions fighting in their own country and still getting the loss.

It's amazing how boxing is so corrupt but when you have mostly unknown foreign fighters fighting in foreign nations far removed from the anglosphere, without the big money promoters, all of a sudden the judges aren't smoking crack and flipping scorecards around.

Just a little thought I had after seeing an old Teddy Atlas video where he is screaming about corruption in boxing - this isn't in response to any recent fight.

Yeah, that should tell you something. Haha.

I admire Usyk more than any other champion right now because he not only unified a division. He did so in other fighters' backyards exclusively. And I'm sure he's fighting Bellew in England. This guy is the ultimate road warrior. However, could he have done so in the states? Depends on the opponent.

Gassiev had a large following too. Breidis almost beat Usyk if that's what you mean by the favourite.

        smh Robbie, always so negative

If Usyk lost a close fight i have no doubt many on this site would be screaming robbery.

Breidis/Usyk fight could've been a draw or for Breidis tbh. I can't believe how underrated Breidis is..I actually thought he won the fight. But I wasn't upset at the decision at all, it was close with some swing rounds. A draw would've been the right thing if in my opinion.

Usyk is probably the better fighter of the two overall anyway, and would win more comfortably in a rematch.

Yeah that's true, in a close fight there are usually cries of robbery especially if the loser has the bigger following.

Off topic Robbie, but how good is a nice hot milk tea on a cold, rainy day? You can stay inside and read a book, or do a sudoku puzzle!
