I dunno...I suspected GGG got old the night of the rematch. I doubt his conditioning was any less than he was absolutely capable of. Nothing has been said about illness or injury. So what does that leave? Must be age, in my opinion. At the very highest level, you lose even a step and you simply fall behind. Golovkin fought well, even might have won, but he was missing something that might’ve put him over the top a year ago. You put a prime, elite athlete in there versus a slightly old, elite athlete and the difference is bound to show. When will the next fight be? Last I checked, people get older with the passage of time.

After Ali beat Norton in Yankee stadium, Felix took Ali's gloves and gave it to a woman for ... well you know.

The gloves never turned up. And every time Angie would see Felix, Angie would say, "Felix, where are those gloves?"

When Love fought Bad News in Phoenix in the late 70's, my bother and I got to be Angie's bodyguards for a day. We went to a barber shop in the Italian section of town. Angie tipped the guy a c-note and Angie didn't even have hair. After the fight we accompanied Angie to the promoter's office to get David's money.

We and Bad News' bodyguards stayed outside while Angie demanded what he was promised. He got it.

Greatest time of my life. Angie was the most down-to-earth person you would ever meet. RIP. Get Time always.

Also, my crazy brother, who wasn't even a fighter, got in the right before the fight and waved to the crowd like he was an up and coming contender.
That's pretty cool, bro. I've said it many times: It's a small world!

But we are still looking for those gloves.

But the real stories are from Hoover street gym in LA. Bruce Curry, Monroe Brooks, Lady Tiger Trimmeral, Jimmy the Lion legon, David Love, Bobby "Chacon would top by, Indian Red Lopes. Rudy Lopez, remember him? Of course Jerry Quarrey was a staple at the Olympic.

Apparently I'm out of step with the majority. Yes Golovkin will lose again if he fights the same way. I know he won the rematch with his jab and boxing skills. Problem is he's not getting credit for his jabs. If he makes a simple adjustment and lands to the body with power he can win. I expect Canelo to change up this time. He will probably go to the ropes ala the first fight but spend more time in ring center as in the last fight. Those changes won't matter if Golovkin pounds the body. Golovkin is getting older. Its a fact he's not as sharp as he was. If he can slow Canelo down he has a good chance to get an official win.

He'd likely get an official win if they fight in NY and not Vegas.

Ok, ok, so you may know a lot of names in boxing. But if you agree that Canelo KOs Golovkin in 3 in their next fight, YDKSAB!
