Great numbers in a post may pac world. Saddest part is a great fight ended with a bad result.

That's very good considering the price and the first fight wasn't exactly a casuals fight.

Do you guy's think a 3rd fight would do about the same? Better? Or worse? I'm curious, because this second fight was extremely entertaining and one of the best fights of the year. On the other hand, we all know people get salty when their man doesn't get the win, even if the fight was extremely close.

I would be willing to see a 3rd fight. Definitely worth the money, although I hope they don't let time lag in between the main event and the undercard again, especially when it's pretty clear the undercards will all end in KO/TKO...

Canelo now involved in 3 of the 5 largest live gates in history. And has had 3 back to back to back 1M+ PPVs and sold over 8M PPVs in his career and he's not even 30 yet.

No doubt. Revenue is what matters, but people only talk about buys.

And idk if they even count theaters, bars & closed circuit locations that show fights, which GGG vs Canelo 2 probably did better than most other fights in history, in those figures at all.

Realistically though, the majority of people who bought the fight probably also own an HDTV.

                Just sayin.
