Because he was just in a hard fight with lit gee, 3 months is too soon. Charlo vs canelo in May would be ideal.

If canelo does fight and beat charlo in December then he's the best middleweight of all time

Is it all but confirmed this is gonna be Canelo vs David L? Can't say I'm super excited for that fight despite David's power. Canelo is gonna be waaaaaay to slick for him. Although I guess there is always the chance of getting caught, but if David couldn't catch GGG with his power very much I don't see him catching Canelo with it & Canelo is gonna make him pay when he misses in BJS-like fashion.

Probably a KO in 6 or less rds.

And assuming David can even make the weight again cuz that always seems like a question mark. And isn't David gonna have to be more mindful of fight day weight too or do none of the belts Canelo has now have fight day requirements?
Only the IBF has the second day weigh-in and they recently have a new rule if its a fight involving a unified champ or a unification fight, they dont mandate a second day weigh-in in order to avoid what Jacobs was pulling against Golovkin.

I was being sarcastic. I actually hate the term "boogeyman" I think its ******. We've seen dozens of them Tyson, Pacquiao, Rigo, Thurman, Kov, GGG, Luis Ortiz etc. All boogeymen until they either lost or had a lackluster performance.

I don't disagree that Charlo has been avoided but him being so inactive doesn't help his cause either. he should be fighting 2-3 times a year with who ever is available and destroy everything in sight until theres no one left but the big names. He's had 27 fights and only 1 noteworthy opponent 2 years ago.

Canelo should fight whoever in December and do the trilogy with GGG for the money right after that. Cause he can't avoid Charlo forever

No need for a trilogy after witnessing Nelo beating him twice.

And? Fighters want fights all the time that are politically impossible.
