What a joke. Sergio's last fight was more than 4 years ago, and even then he was washed. Imagine what he'll look like now, at the age of 43. And Chavez Jr. is...well, he's Chavez Jr.

What in the hell does DAZN think they're doing making this fight? Does no one at DAZN realize this is a joke of a fight?

If this fight happens, it would be an embarrassment to the sport. If this - Chavez Jr. vs. Martinez, Jarrell Miller vs. Adamek, etc. - is what they are bringing to the market, we're better off without them.

Ugh. I'm not surprised DAZN/Hearn is making a move at JCC Jr cuz he's Latino + still has some level of following I gotta assume, but this is a garbage fight for a "monster PPV type card" or w/e these cards were supposed to represent.

I mean is it confirmed the main event?!?!?! If its a co-main or a featured fight fair play I can't hate that THAT much, but a 40 something year old retired guy who was peg legging around in his last fight 4 years ago vs a notorious unmotivated under performer isn't main event sh^t. Hearn is dropping the ball big on this if this is the main event.

Ortiz is always a fun watch win or lose. Sergio was on a f#cking peg leg in his last fight 4yrs ago & JCC Jr is a f#ckhead who has barely shown up for a fight in years. This isn't a big card main event. At best its a co-main & more reasonably a 3rd or 4th fight from the top fight.

Whats the source for this news?

Being that we've heard this was a fight being out in the ether it was already on my mind as a weird fight, but as a DAZN "big PPV-like fight card event" it seems like a horrible choice. I say just cancel the first "big PPV-like fight card event" vs showing a garbage main event like this fight is.
