I sure hope that Evander hangs them up soon. I can completely understand what being away from the ring can do to a fighter. You just always want that last chance to prove your worth and show the world what you are capable of.

Evander has proven time and time again that his worth is not measurable. For a man to stand and fight the way that he did, with the people that he did and for such a long time is priceless to any boxing fan.

I know that he misses it. But having heard him speak recently it is scary to think about any more damage being dealt to the real deal.

I love him as the fighter that he was. I would rather remember him that way then to see him continue on until he is pummeled by some young up and comer. Dont need another Joe Louis ending in the ring with another one of our great champions.
