My guess is Canelo's side are going to offer a step-aside fee because Lem in Dec and then GGG in May leaves Charlo out in the cold for too long for the WBC to come up with exceptions to allow it. As a Golovkin I'd like him to get a 3rd fight but it's not right to hold up the division for so long. Canelo-Charlo in December would be great but Lemieux seems set for that. Ideally Charlo gets the May date while Golovkin goes for the IBF or WBO champ.

Mauricio Sulaiman is not going to force that fight anytime soon. He will continue to protect Canelo for as long as possible because Ginger is his fellow compatriot.
He would put pressure on GGG to fight Jermall Charlo if he wouldn't fight his favorite Saul Alvarez but with Canelo he will make an exception for him because he is partial since they are both from Mexico.

Razor you know those two wont fight. GGG gas no belts. Plus i noticed this some that Jermall usually gave props to GGG . Never really downed him , like he has done Canelo or Saunders or Jacobs.

On potential yes. But i see what you are saying GBP is trying to probably get him a multifight deal , just in case he wins.

It's the only card Oscar has to play. And damn good one at that.

I expect Showtime and Dazn to be the main suitors. I don't think ESPN has the budget to give him the $150M+ I suspect will come his way.

GGG ain't no monster. Jacobs finished him. By the time he faced Canelo he was over the hill. Everyone knew that. Charlo is fresh and heavy handed. The brother hits like a mule. All that Mexican beef won't help ginger.

We all know the wbc will allow Clenelo to get a tune up fight before he faces Charlo so when that happens Charlo too should request a tune up/eliminator and fight GGG.

GGG can do it to position himself for a mandatory rematch and Charlo to prove he can do what Clenelo couldn't do and KO GGG.

Win win situation as I see it.

It’s rare you see someone in a mandatory position or close to one take a fight as dangerous as that in the interim. The most recent example is Parker vs whyte. It’s not a win win for Charlo if he loses. I’d love to see the fight but I equally see why it won’t make sense
