Physical prime yes, probably not in his prime yet as a boxer though. Guys like Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko became smarter boxers going into their 30's and I think Joshua will continue to get smarter as well. He's only had 22 pro fights so far so he's still gaining experience and improving his technique.

I agree...he probably won't see his absolute peak for a couple of years.

I agree. He can't get any stronger or faster but could get smarter and improve his skills.

Yep add to that the fact that he was a late starter, I don't think he'll peak till he's 31/32/33. Similar to Wilder
A busted nose in the Takam fight helped him remain composed. Going the distance against Parker gave him a 12 round tutorial on stamina. The Wlad fight helped strengthen his mental toughness. Right now, he's the finished product in terms of boxing, but as a fighter he's missing the finishing ingredient: courage, and a fight with Whyte won't help him find it.
Not really, i think he needs another 2 fights to reach his peak. Just saw the pov fight last night and i think this was his best display yet. He was methodical, he was patient, he was jabbing to the body, he too shots and was ok.
I would say he still has potential to become a more complete fighter. His movement was much improved against Povetkin, showed things he's never shown before. As Eddie Hearn said, Povetkin's style was all wrong for AJ on paper. Rob McCracken came up with a great gameplan and AJ put it into effect very well. When you look at who is left standing at Heavyweight, in terms of other champions and pretenders, I think AJ has demonstrated all the skills necessary to topple them all. It's crazy to think he could clear the division out in the next two years, then have another three or four years defending his throne. Honestly could put together a top 10 legacy.
