I don't know that Larios has fought a southpaw in recent years. I dunno if he ever fought a shouthpaw. If he did, the guy could not possibly be of Pacquiao's caliber in terms of power and quickness.

I know that Larios has been training against southpaws, but there's a huge difference between sparring against lefties and meeting them in events. Hopkins credits John David Jackson for helping him to fight southpaws as he frequently sparred with Jackson when he was coming up, but he is always quick to add that he got his real training in real fights.

If Pacquiao starts quickly, as he is reportedly planning, he'd give Larios fits pretty early.
