    Thoughts re DAZN?

What is the consensus re DAZN? Here are my reactions:
    1. TECHNICAL: Spotty at times. I and a couple friends experienced some buffering, lagginG and stuttering. My ESPN+ and Showtime streams are much more stable. GRADE: B=
    2. ANNOUNCERS: Mora and Mannix are solid. SRL, as usual, is terrible. Master of the obvious, adds nothing. But the worst part was Brian Kenny. He doesn't call any of the action. It's almost like the fight is an afterthought to whatever conversation he is having at the time. It was so bad that it even made me miss Mauro Ranallo. And the two roving reporters AK and somebody are amateurs who belong on a Golden Boy Fight Club stream, not a major heavyweight title fight. GRADE: C-
    3. PRODUCTION: Sky Sports produced the telecast, not DAZN, so the jury is still out. GRADE: INCOMPLETE
    4. PREFIGHT CONTENT/SHOULDER PROGRAMMING: Non-existent. Hardly saw anything featuring AJ or Povetkin, let alone the undercard. But I did see a bunch of ****** cheesy promos about how no one can pronounce DAZN. How about taking that money and spending it on something that features the fighters rather than some corny, unfunny promos? GRADE: F.
    5. MARKETING/BUZZ: The event seemed to have zero buzz here in the U.S. Only the hardest core boxing fans were aware of it, and that was because of AJ, not DAZN. No awareness among casuals or even mid-level boxing fans. Didn't see any marketing or promotion from DAZN. No ads or marketing on ESPN, during college football or NFL. The biggest push seemed to come from AJ's own social media. GRADE: D+

Overall grade: C/C-. Given that the upcoming DAZN schedule has a lot of meaningless, who cares type fights (Jessie Vargas, Miller vs washed up Adamek, second-tier WBSS cruiserweights, etc.), I don't think I'll be sticking around to pay for the subscription - at least not unless DAZN finally sgns some true top-tier American or Hispanic fighters.

Yes love the commentating. That was the 1st thing I noticed. No bias **** sucking telling everything like it is. SRL just needs to start talking lol. The man said like 20 words through out the broadcast.
DAZN is good for boxing. You can't fit everything onto showtime/fox. You can never have enough boxing.
    Hopefully people support it.

I enjoyed it. If they keep signing more top tier fighters it's easily worth the $10. Especially since nothing will be on ppv.

My stream was great, no problems. Very good presentation as well. Sergio Mora was the best part of the broadcast I thought, he did a nice job with the analysis. Its at least as good as HBO/Showtime in quality and better than ESPN or Fox in my opinion.

Why do you care where the boxers are from bro? You need to tear down that wall bro and open up the borders of your mind and embrace boxers from anywhere around the world.

smh, dirty Trump supporter probably no use talking to you.

I think DAZN sucks @ss in its current state, but to protest your bigotry I'm subscribing right after I post this comment. I spit at you. Enjoy Drumpf while he lasts a$shole, like him you are finished!

My stream for a few seconds here and there was spotty as well. Didn't know if it was my connection or that was happening for everyone.

I actually didn't like the broadcast or announcing team all that much aside from Sergio Mora who was good as usual.

It was the first show and mainly a Sky Sports production so lets see how the October 6 card will look.

I didn’t have a single glitch. Commentators were good and overall, it was free. No complaints. Will watch for my 30 days and decide if I wanna keep it.

It was OK but some work to do obviously

Kay Adams is not a host for boxing, she was looking over at Chris Mannix like "OK What Do I Say Next?" she is EXCELLENT on NFL Network but you can tell she just doesn't know anything about boxing or the guys fighting on the card. Give Michelle Joy Phelps that job not some outside that knows Sh_t about boxing!

As for the Broadcast Team, worse than I expected. Brian Kenny is not a play by play guy, Ray Leonard is awful, even worse now than he was on PBC on NBC he really doesn't say much hopefully he is OK Mentally but just seemed off the entire Broadcast.

Sergio Mora was BRILLIANT! Carried that entire Broadcast on his Back! Chris Mannix was good also.

Flawless broadcast. I liked Kay Adams. She brought good energy.

Chris Mannix asked real questions of AJ at the end. Hope that doesn't get him in the dog house.

Their replay game was on point. They showed slow mos of every single notable punch that I actually wanted to see. Meanwhile HBO and SHO always seem to go several rounds without showing a single highlight.
