Great job by Joshua, He adjusted and got his timing down

His shots were long early and he took shots he did not take later, great adjustment to get his timing down and learning the distance he needed to be effective..very good win by Joshua!!!

He sure did well to adjust. You can tell he's still learning and trying to implement the things he's learning in camp.

That was a great sequence of punches by AJ. Props to him!

All these fanboys judging a fight on early rd XD. This is a 12 rd championship fight not a 4rd amatuer fight. AJ did good controlling the fight with his jab. Povetkin was landing early but coming up short once AJ established the distance and his jab,

I agree, early rounds are used to learn your opponent and to study them..Joshua showed he has a good mind and is caculating things..I saw when he dropped his left and kept his right ****ed he noticed Povetkin had no jab and just lunged in...He was just timing him and trying to catch him coming in

I like AJ but not really what I’d call a fan but that was impressive I think. I agree with the sentiments expressed. Made huge adjustments.

It does make me want to see the Wilder fight more.

AJ’s poise against Wilder’s speed and unpredictability.

Povetkin has a good set of whiskers.
