    Great Job By AJ, But...

...if he fights like that vs the winner in December, HE WILL LOSE.

Fury and Wilder are better movers, have faster hands, and won't have to worry about AJ's height and reach since they match him in those areas.

If anything, the performance against Povetkin- although unquestionable a show of championship true grit- kind of exposed AJ as robotic and lumbering.

It isn't hard to see why McCraken doesn't think AJ is ready...

Every fight's different I'm sure he'll be much more cautious early on against Bombsquad next year.

If 40 yr old Ortiz managed to make Wilder fight for his life,
how much more a young prime champion like AJ?
Which is why you won't see any fighter resembling AJ in Wilder's resume.
Wilder turned down $15 mil precisely because he thought he would lose.
          He wanted retirement money.

I don't know if Wildher is the same fighter after the beating he took from Ortiz.

He had the flu the whole week leading up to the Ortiz fight. That's why he came in so light.

props to Aj using the lennox Lewis blueprint, hes wide open for a nice right hand tho. he better keep that left hand up when he fights wilder, he showed a decent chin... understand why hearn wanted him to have a few fights before wilder just wish he would have been more honest. good fight no need to hate. he got the job done

Ortiz hits harder than AJ. And that's a fight that AJ wanted no parts of as well lol
