This is how it used to be done. Has nothing to do with their money.
How cheap is DAZN? LMFAO. No judges. The referee will score

Again tell me why a professional boxer, Sergio Mora, has never heard of the referee also judging the fight if it's common and widely done. Did he just start watching boxing?Comment

Happens a lot in the low level fights here.
A kind of through back to the early days of boxing I suppose you could say.
Fury's latest fight was scored by the ref. Also his first fight against McDermott, a fight many believe McDermott won.
Off topic, but who are the 2 smartly dressed guys on DAZN? The ones wearing suits and a hat.Comment

Nah, refs do still judge fights some times. At least I know this happens in the UK and some other countries. Usually small time domestic fights with no world title / contender implications.Originally posted by larryxxx..no its not, why even make up a lie like this?? Refs havent been included in the judging since damn near the 30's..but I have never literally never heard of no judges
You could understand it when it comes to fights where the boxers are making peanuts. Cost of hiring judges when the ref is already in the ring is not always easy to justify.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-22-2018, 01:01 PM.Comment

We watch american fights. Where we can afford judges. Stick to your UK fights where you guys charge $10 a ppv and can't afford judges
How many UK fighters are on the P4P list again? LmaoooooComment

I've heard of refs having a scorecard, but dont remember a ref having an active say in the official scores.Comment
