Comments Thread For: Siesta: Upset on Joshua-Povetkin could change the boxing world

The dust barely settled around the biggest fight of this year between pound-for-pound stars Gennady Golovkin and Saul Canelo' Alvarez on Mexican Independence Day this past weekend in Las Vegas, the boxing world is preparing for another robust event between heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and his WBA mandatory challenger, Alexander Povetkin on Saturday in London, England.

im sorry...but povetkin has little to no shot here.....maybe that says something good about AJ...maybe it just means povetkin is old and small.....

but I cant see him doing anything to AJ...unless he catches AJ with a one vicious kill shot.....the minute AJ is any trouble he will just resort to boxing .....and povetkin wont be able to get to him....parker wasn't able to get to him and hes taller and prob even more athletic than povetkin at this point

I cant imagine povetkin giving AJ much trouble here at all...maybe im very wrong...we shall see soon

Maybe he’s a laughing stock in America and caravan sites / scrap yards

But most boxing fans know what’s up ... this is a great scrap between number 1 and number 3 in the division .

          Deal with it

              I'm rooting for Povetkin.
Would be curious to know where Wilder is going after he beats an out-of-shape Fury.
Get ready to travel to Russia if Wilder wants Pov's 3 titles.
