local hero Regis Prograis (United States) and Terry Flanagan (England) battle it out for WBC Super-Lightweight Diamond Title
So the double header is great and all but Regis Prograis is going from a WBC 'interim' title to a WBC 'Diamond' belt? So that means if Prograis wins the WBSS 140 tournament OR even Terry Flanagan * Chuckles * hes is the mando to Jose Ramirez ; like Kovalev and Linares were mandos, OK this is very interesting considering there is the possibility of another undisputed jr. welterweight champion.

In theory it should be easy to get another undisputed champion. Ramirez should fight the winner of Hooker/Saucedo to unify one half of the titles. Winner of the WBSS would have the other 2 titles and be mandatory to the WBC/WBO Champion.

I thought Maurice was already in the WBSS jr. welterweight tournament? but that works too.

Nah, Hooker couldn't enter. Arum called the WBO mandatory on him and wasn't interested in putting Saucedo into the WBSS.

Ok thanks. You cant really blame Arum, Saucedo is in tough vs. Hooker and then Alex would most likely lose the WBO title in the following stages of the WBSS -- makes more sense having two champions under Toprank.
