I thought so too! I haven't heard any noise from canelo, charlo, or the wbc about it. If I could pick an opponent for canelo to face, itd be charlo. But I suspect they'll wanna build that fight.

Charlo is the only intriguing fight left in the division, so anyone he fights next that isn't him, or Saunders for the complete crown, will be a letdown. The division just isn't deep, and it hasn't been for a while.

If GGG was allowed to avoid his mandatory and cherry pick vanes then canelo is def allowed a easy fight coming off the back of 2 wars. Lemiuex is mandatory and a whole lot better of a opponent then a 2 year inactive 154lb fighter.

I agree with the Lemieux fight but people gave GGG grief for fighting his mandatory in Wade, then said he was ducking some bum while waiting for the Canelo pay day. He could never win.

BJS has a fight in late OCT. Vs. "BooBoo" Andrade... Not enough turn around.

BJS won't fight BooBoo. He's already moving away from the fight. Look at him with his antics - that's just to get the Board to call him for hearings. Then he'll claim that there wasn't enough time to train. Then he unifies with Canelo in December. It's already done, contracts have already been exchanged under the table
