Comments Thread For: Sanchez: Golovkin a Little Angry Vegas Favors The House Fighter

Abel Sanchez, trainer for middleweight contender Gennady Golovkin, feels strongly that his boxer did enough to win last Saturday's rematch with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Canelo and Golovkin fought toe to toe in a highly competitive contest for twelve rounds, with the Mexican star securing a twelve round majority decision at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Thank God Canelo stood his ground so that Golovkin wouldn’t have to leave in the hands of the judges. As promised, he delivered the KO. Right?

Clown back at it. Knew the humble Sanchez wouldn't last long.

Is there a serious case of bipolar disorder here?

First Abel couldn’t get let go of Canelo’s nuts, now this?

Vitriol incoming but those are fair comments.

On a side note I really wish there was a GGG/Canelo and Mayweather/Pacquaio forum and then a Boxing forum because this fight has brought the worst out of certain posters and a lot of fans especially the one's who only post about the aforementioned. The casuals are really only into them and Wilder/Joshua and every thread gets derailed on any of those subjects by troll posters and dumb casuals.

You mean Canelo couldn’t deliver a KO, let alone even barely faze GGG with all thos “power” shots he landed to GGG’s face making his skin red? Yeah, you’re right. The Mexican diva couldn’t deliver his promised KO, he did fight a hell of a fight, though.

"He's disappointed, a little angry that Vegas seems to favor the house fighter. There's nothing we can do to change the decision, so we discussed how we're going to...how we're gonna approach questions about it. We feel Gennady is the people's champion, the people feel he won, so that's what we're thinking."

They had a meeting for excuses.

Sanchez said he had a draw, now he says Golovkin won.

GGG trainer Able Sanchez answer when directly asked was why GGG was backing up from Canelo after they demanded Mexican Style talk and was that the game plan you had.

“I wanted Golovkin to fight Canelo. If Canelo was gonna stand in the middle of the ring, I wanted him to fight Canelo. He decided it was better to do the things that he did." - Able Sanchez

Asked a follow up on why he did that

“If I start to make excuses about Golovkin, then I’m taking away from the victory of Canelo, and that’s ridiculous. We as coaches can only coach them and do the best we can in the gym and have a game plan. When we get in there, they see things that maybe are better for them. We can’t force them to do something they don’t want to do." - Able Sanchez

Next time fight Mexican Style like your trainer told you to because you said if Canelo fights you Mexican Style you don't need judges. But it was you that didn't want none and got your face broke. Sore loser GGG
