I think he has a real shot, but Joshua's athleticism should be the difference maker. Age and fitness looks like they may play a role too, but there's a good class of old guys still operating at high level in this era, so let's see. Povetkin may be highly motivated.

This fight could play out like Tyson/Lewis (Yeah, I just re-watched it again after a billion yrs & this is like the 3rd post I have brought this fight up today... don't @me)

I'm flip flopping like a mugg on this fight...
I want Povetkin to fight like he suggests he can and test AJ's whiskers a bit.

This is do or die for Povetkin. At his age, he wont be getting another title shot anytime soon.

can't believe how many people actually believe this is going to be a competitive fight. I'm no Joshua fan at all. In fact, after his abject duck of Wilder, and subsequent betrayal of boxing fans across the globe, I have lost all respect for him. However, Povetkin has absolutely no chance. It will be a blow out in the first few rounds. Povetkin has lost way too much to pose even the slightest threat. Hopefully he knocks Joshua out. But not gonna happen.

Of course it's a huge chance for the Russian to cause an upset and be a unified champ.
It's a once in a life time opportunity. Am sure he is coming all out for this.

AJ should watch out for that mysterious over right hand.. It's extremely dangerous.

            Letsssss rumbleee.

It would be cool if you did win Povetkin but I doubt it will happen. I think AJ will light you up something serious. And besides most of the fighters I've pulled for have lost this year so that doesn't bode well for you. Who knows you may get close enough to AJ to tap that chin in the right spot!! We'll see tomorrow dude just try not to get KO'd!!

"One of my last chances"? What did Hearn promise? Win and I'll pay you better next time? Lose good and you get Whyte? We have a room ready at the hospital? 2 out of three ain't bad.

I actually think it could go like Lewis/Briggs. Povetkin catches AJ early, has him in trouble a few times but can't finish the job. Runs out of steam trying to take him out and AJ starts landing bombs once he gets his legs back under him, then it will only be a matter of time until Povetkin goes down for good.

Actually, if he loses, Povetkin/Del Boy could be a hell of an action fight
