I can see that, But with his Stable Mate in the same division we prob wont see Mikey fight in that division anymore. Ramirez or Prograis will occupy that spot soon.

Not sure how. He won a title off a guy that won a title in a vacant fight. Crawford was still a junior welterweight (just the IBF had taken the belt by then) at the time Lipinets fought Kondo.

I'd be interested how they came to that conclusion.

Garcia and Lipinets were #1 and #2 at the time. Crawford had already vacated all his belts at that point and those rankings were made before Ramirez beat Imam, before Taylor beat Postol and before Prograis beat Indongo so it makes sense.

To be fair if he would've stayed at 140 he undoubtedly would be the main guy there like at 135

Why should this new group be any more respected than the ones we have now? Are the saints? Mikey has to do what Crawford did and it ain't easy. He has to beat every 140 pound belt holder like Crawford did. Or if it's obvious he is the best you could just declare him the lineal champ but that will only work for some fans but not all fans. This lineal stuff is complicated and I am not sure how important it really is. Cotto was the lineal middleweight champion and nobody in their right mind thought for even one minute that Cotto was the best middleweight in the world. Spinks was the lineal heavyweight champ when everybody knew Tyson was the real champ and he proved it by knocking out Spinks in the first minute of the first round.
