Why you trying to side with this guy man? 114-114 and the Golovkin/Canelo are the worst in the sport. All tied to the same guy, at those stakes. Does it really have to take a PBC guy to get robbed for us all to unite against the ****ers? Because it will happen, its not about race, its money, and they'll do it. You want to see Spence or Charlos rise halted by the same ****?

Good resume and accomplishments on paper tho, and more significant than any of that, he elevated himself to be the biggest draw/star in the sport.

Well, no one sane thinks he lost *many* of his significant fights.

It’d be one. Lara OR GGG but not both. Can’t have Lara winning and Canelo losing in GGG 1.

And if we’re fair, Lara spent HUGE portions of the fight being completely inactive and when youre on the back foot, no one likes that. There were times he’d go like a literal near minute just avoiding engagement and not throwing a single punch.

I dont blame the judges. I blame lara.

And if anyone though Cotto or Trout won....yikes. Bless their heart

Clearly 114-114, clearly beat Vazquez, Lara, his whole career is riddled with corruption. You love the sport or you **** off the old system. Mayweather won his fights, despite the calls of unfair advantages. But this is a whole different level. Its what happens when moneys pouring out of the sport, and you have to put it on one bankable asset

I said many people...as in different people thinking he lost different fights. I thought he won the lara fight, but it was really a pitiful display by both guys. I thought he lost both ggg fights, with the 2nd being close. canelo is similar to ggg in how he looks like a world beater against lesser competition, but barely gets by his top opposition.

They stripped him of the TBRB title after not fighting at middleweight for one year, but no one entity has the authority to control the lineal title and plenty of lineal champions have gone longer than a year without defending their title. Canelo took two fights out of the division, so ended up going 16 months between lineal defenses. It's not a legitimate reason to strip him of the lineal title since some champions have gone years between defenses.
