Nope, I wrote here before the fight I was in Tijuana watching it. Then had work in Mexicali on Monday.

Posted about it here during and after the fight.

I wish I was in Cancun.

I’d like to believe some people can watch a fight and remove their bias. I realize that isn’t easy.

I had Golovkin winning by two rounds. During the fight I scored it here as I saw it. Don’t see anyway Golovkin won by more than two rounds. 115-113 was right there for me too. Could have understood a draw, I just didn’t see Canelo winning. Thought both fought excellent, just thought it was a bad decision.

I have no problem at all with your card. I just have a huge problem with emotional screaming robbery BS. Or the CLEARLY won comments...

So if that is the case and round one is Canelo and saying otherwise means one doesn’t know sht about boxing, what does that say about all three judges who gave the round to Golovkin?

I had the exact same score after four found as all the judges, even. Two rounds a piece. One day I’ll go back and see the rest of my scorecard and how it compares with the official scorecards.

I get that. I do not see anyway Golovkin won by more than two rounds. There’s a lot of emotion in this fight and especially on a site like this.

I also get annoyed when I hear a guy like Ward, who I knew even before a word came out of his mouth had an agenda, say Canelo “broke” Golovkin. Then he said he didn’t even score the fight. This is a guy who said before the fight Golovkin was already up by 2-3 rounds before the fight.

I was disappointed by RJJ too. The guy I consider the best P4P fights in my life time and he says Golovkin ran?

Anyways great fight, both guys can hold their heads high. Both got a ton of money and came out as healthy as you can after being beat up.

1st fight not second. He said GGG CLEARLY won the 1st and 2nd was close.

One thing i've noticed about Lampley over the years is he is far too emotionally invested in the outcomes of fights that involve fighters he may be partial towards. It's actually disgusting and unbearable at this point.

I also hate when ppl say someone won but dont even give a score or explain why. I also hate cards that mathematically dont add up or make sense and fans assume they were 10-10. Again ASSUME.

Semantics I suppose. I can't say it was a robbery, but in my mind it was as close to being a robbery as it was to being a CLEAR win for Canelo. Both overstated ways to express what happened in there.

He didn't want to give Canelo credit until he had no choice, he should just take over as GGG's publicist.
