Oquendo is a beast. Isn't this the third fighter? I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly but did Browne also fail his test against him? I know Briggs did.

Oquendo's run since the Chageav fight is HOF.

He'll have been out of the ring for five years when he does fight for the title. For fucks sake.

It's bizarre. He didn't deserve a title shot but I hope he's getting paid because three training camps and no fights due to the opponents cheating would be grossly unfair.

Why in the hell is this 45 year old boxer who has fought in over 4 years and lost that fight, fighting for a vacant world title? Can't the WBA find any heavyweight better qualified to fight for their vacant title?

Briedis should fight for it, considering he knocked Charr the **** out.

What is the thing with him and Dan Rafael all about?

Every week someone makes a joke about Oquendo in his chat and Dan fake bans (or maybe real bans) them.

not sure if every detail is correct, but it went like this:

oquendo fought against chagaev in 2014. decision was very controversial, oquendo didnt got paid. He proceeds to sue the wba and wins the case.

Oquendo now is owed a title shot for the wba regular. Browne beats chagaev, wins the wba. has to face oquendo next. got busted for steroids.
Oquendo vs Briggs was sanctioned (Why briggs deserved a title shot i dont know though lol).
                    Briggs tested positive also.

Charr Vs Ustinov gets sanctioned for the reguar title meanwhile. Charr wins the WBA regular and has to face Oquendo next.

Charr tests positive. Oquendo again without an opponent. Next in line is Miller.

So after Miller beats ancient, undersized Adamek, he is probably going to fight ancient, inactive oquendo.

WBA as always just a joke.
