So what's the hold up? I believe both of these guys are full of shiiit! They both deal with Haymon so the fight should be easy to make. I believe they both know this fight isn't happening anytime soon or possibly never! Spence isn't getting Porter or Thurman next so who does he fight next? Another Acampo?

When Crawford went up for Horn, nobody felt he was moving too fast because we knew that Horn didn't beat Pacquiao, and we knew he was trash! Now with Mikey, it's different only because it's Spence! However, I feel Mikey deserves some applause, he chose the better WW! Even if Mikey chooses to fight Pacquiao @ 147, I still say he chose the better WW!

Because it's easier to justify losing to a bigger guy in Spence than losing to a smaller guy in Loma. Mikey is not fooling anyone here. If he was confidence in beating Loma, he would have taken that fight to shut everyone up, espeically Top Rank, the way everyone has been hyping Loma up. You would think that Mikey would take that fight to shut everyone up but he knows the risk of losing is there.

If the fight does not happen you could bet your ass it's not because of Mikey Garcia's side of the table and you know that.
Anything that Mikey vocally pursues is what he gets and he ain't talking about Spence jr. for no Fame he wants that Belt and that #1 p4p spot while he still 30 in his prime time.

you must have been living under a rock! Mikey has never face the best fighters in his 39 professional fights. Mikey has been talking about challenging himself since returning but has been steadily doing the opposite.

this is a big issue to me, u have a chance to be the unified champ in your own division but you are barking at someone 2 divisions up? what n the hell is going on here. AJ had a chance to be the unified HW champ and ran from it acting like a diva allowing hearn to talk him out of chasing gratness, and now this from Garcia? I really don't understand these guys.

Right now, I'm giving Mikey the benefit of the doubt! I understand that Showtime doesn't want to do the fight yet because of Wilder vs. Fury! The fight has been pushed back to 1st quarter of 2019! We'll see! What I won't do is "discredit" Mikey...yet! If he comes out and says he's fighting Lomachenko next, then I will talk bad about him because then it would be obvious he had no intention of ever fighting Spence!

Brooks, who was just coming back from a beating of his life against a another media darling in GGG. Duran was the same size as Mikey and went up to beat the golden boy Leonard and took his undefeated record. Don't get crazy for what the media says, look at all the aspects of the fighter and the fight. Mikey has not giving the best of him yet, and maybe Spence hasn't either. This looks like is going to be a classic fight for the ages. Don't ruin the fight with all of these $upid comments on the size difference.

I agree. Would ove to see this fight. Spence is good, but besides Brook who was damaged goods who has he beaten. Plus Brook had been draining himself for way too long to make weight. Brook should have been a 154 pounder 4 years ago. Mikey is very technical and i think he sees flwas in Spence. I dont see too many, but i know he can be countered at the mid range a little. It s just can Mikey survive the first 4 to 5 rounds and deal out enough punishment to get close later in the fight.
