ggg just lost to a guy with ZERO wins at MW, moving up 3 divisions, and with multiple controversial wins.

Kovalev had 3 dominant wins over Hopkins, Pascal, and Cleverly.
Ward was relatively inactive and moving up to fight the most feared man in boxing.

These are two different classes of fighters you're talking about, two polar opposites.

ward didn't look like **** against kovalev. he got dropped and had a rough couple of rounds. otherwise they were on a largely even keel or ward was ahead.

golovkin took more punishment in the first fight than ward did in the first fight. golovkin was hit cleanly A LOT in the second fight. ward has never been in a fight like that in his life. golovkin will not be the same after that. i know that you don't understand boxing or what that means, and are purely casual. trust me when i say that golovkin will not be the same fighter or man after the last canelo fight.

what's it mean when you cleanly hit exponentially more than a fighter who looked like ****? if you'd rather be gennady golovkin than andre ward after those fights you don't understand what you are looking at.

just try and enjoy a classic without bleeding all over the place from your vagina or acting on an agenda. that fight was a classic.

i honestly feel sorry for all of you young and new boxing fans who have to come up in this environment that is so toxic that you lose sight of the fact that your favorite fighter was in a classic. you should be proud of your guy, not trying to detract form everybody else because you feel shame.

you guys aren't worth the time of my day, i have no idea why i do this.

Canelo and GGG fight like warriors with no holding, wrestling and clinching, only hard punching in 24 rounds. Has there ever been a Ward fight in which he went even 30 seconds without hugging his opponent like an octopus? Hell no. Ward is better suited for the UFC. Yes he is undefeated but his fights are double ugly and he breaks the rules and gets a pass. I think it's Ward who is not in the same class as GGG or Canelo and if he was a middleweight they would knock him out.

True. He was horrible to watch which is why he hasn't earnt what canelo and golovkin have. And noones gonna talk about any of his 'classic fights' in 5 years time. Can't say I watched kovalev and ward and thought they were light years ahead of canelo and golovkin skill wise. Have asked the question who did kovalev actually beat compared to canelo and haven't got much of an answer lol

Some boxers grow bigger Ward lover. Ward didn't move up an ounce to fight Kovalev. Ward was fighting as a light heavyweight when he fought Kovalev because he had out grown 168 and he told us this. Canelo had also grown into a full middleweight and weighed the same 171 pounds on fight night that GGG did so don't turn him into a midget. You are staking the deck with lies to make Ward look good and GGG look bad. Ward is much younger than GGG and he is retired while GGG is making more money in 2 fights than Mr Clinch made in his whole career. GGG has more knockouts than Ward has total fights.
