It makes business sense. GGG is going to retire very soon. Canelo still has a lot of years left. Although I thought GGG won a close fight, I can see why the judges would pick Canelo.

OR

They want a rematch. If GGG won, Canelo would not get a rematch due to his juicing past. With Canelo winning, GGG will want that rematch and then retire.

If you want business , do business. But do not mix it up with the decisions.
