Hereīs my (probably verry popular) take.. if it isnīt a PED and thereīs no fight scheduled.. who cares? Young men must have their fun, as long as they keep their priorities right.

He shouldn't be punished for this. It only hurts his performance.

        Yes you are right.
Unfortunately alot of these boxers in their time out of training use recreational drugs.
It's not a good look for the sport but it happens.
I agree he needs to receive a hefty fine.
He doesnt need to be punished further than that.

Young ? Got money? Likes Women? Athlete? Of course he's probably on some drugs. Young man out there living life. This shouldnt be a shocker the shocker is this idiot enrolled in a drug program knowing he does illegal drugs. These kids. I lived the fast life too. Haven't touched the white girl since college. It's better to get that lifestyle out of your system early.

There's nothing you should apologize for kid, ..this wasn't done on a training camp or for any world championship match ..you're young and you earn your money the hard way so you go spend it however the fkkk you want , fkk what others say...be Tony Montana all you want as long as you don't do it to hurt someone or pre fight

Probably just tried it because of peer pressure from his homeboyzzz and he wanted to impress some smoking hot babes! I think he only did it for that reason alone so he could prove he wasn't just any geek off the street that his appearance would lead you to believe. So to dispell that notion he had to show the crowd he wasn't anyone to be fk'd with so he took his first hit thinking it would be a one time thing. Well little did David know ******* is a little stronger addiction than Granny's cough syrup!! Every since that day he's been chasing that same high, that feeling he can't get back, the world's youngest champ at '68 just had a taste of CRACK!!!

Not a performance enhancer so I don't think he should get a ban this time, however as a world champ he is a role model for the youth whether he likes it or not. As such he should receive a hefty fine and have to community service of a sort - 50 hours coaching in a youth boxing club for example.

Damn. I like this kid and was ready to see him fight again. Too much time on his hands. Should have been in the ring again already.

So yall are alright with him doin coke as long as he not fighting soon? But I do coke on my job and get caught what's gonna happen?
Gotta hold these dudes accountable. Weed ... it's legal in some places so that's questionable but fcken ******* ... if I can't then he can't neither.

Now what I don't like is VADA getting involved. There should be a seperate drug testing for those types of drugs.
