If ggg is old, then there is no point in having a 3rd fight. Maybe ggg was the one missing his peds and that's why he gassed out?

Man, I know you're saying "peds" in jest somewhat but I am scratching my head on his performance the same way. I haven't been a huge follower of GGG and I know many of his fans say he always packs on the pounds in between fights, but the first face-off when they announced this rematch had me dumbfounded. GGG looked soft as charmin not just in the belly but also some atrophy in the upper body, and that made absolutely no sense since he stayed active by fighting in May. I know Abel's training camps in Big Bear are infamous for being grueling but going that high in flab before 8-week camp had to play a role, not to mention father time is undefeated as well.

It is strange how press row had it either a draw or a win for G & Abel is praising Canelo while criticising G's performance ( ?) Abel & Canelo are countrymen maybe he felt bad for all the negative statements he made about Nelo on all the Spanish programs.

Or maybe he's just being honest and agrees with the overwhelming view of fighters, trainers and professional judges that canelo won the fight. Media bloggers didn't want to give canelo credit Sanchez does. Why does it have to be anything more then that.

Abel is thinking Canelo might consider hiring him to be a part of his team one day knowing GGG is past his prime and is on his way out.

Abel made the comment because of the key thing he said in his statements. I think he was expecting a different fighter and Canelo suprised him and gained his respect. Part of it is damage control to ensure a 3rd fight, no leverage left.

Did you see ODL's smug face on YouTube when he told GGG to go back to the drawing board? ODL can learn a few things from Abel when it comes to class. And while Abel's criticism of Canelo was legitimate before the fight, Canelo proved in that fight that he can be excellent when he fights clean and he can step up his game. And, yes, I'm GGG's supporter
