When asked in an interview what fighters he looked up to growing up Malignaggi said Ali and a couple other old school fighters but he also said as he got older Mayweather also fell in that category.

Besides his heart and toughness, Malignaggi also survived against Cotto because he was able to confuse him and smother his power. Mayweather's boxing skills and accuracy would finish the night early.

i gave this thread a chance until i saw you saying that paulie would win by decision, useless bollocks. i then knew it was another one of paulies guys fan fiction. i would watch this fight though, some great fighters of the sweet science, it would be nice. i am a fan of malignaggi's after that cotto fight dont get me wrong, like a new ****in gatti and ****, takin in all those punches.
