It's an interesting situation because it was a close fight with the majority of the media picking Golovkin again.

Similar to Pac-Horn where most people had it for Pacquiao, but his own trainer decided to join the minority.

    Maybe a split is coming?

When has Abel ever taken the high road???? Abel has taken over Roach as the most talkative trainer in sports. If Abel felt GGG won he would've said so. In a round about way he's saying GGG lost but won't just come out and say it.

No Abel, GGG generates 90% of his power when his opponents are backing up. Golovkin can’t throw combinations & get full extension without that space there.
          Canelo fought a brilliant fight

Well he is Mexican and he did let Golovkin borrow the Mexican style moniker. He has every right to reclaim his heritage if his fighter isn’t doing it justice.

Running against the smaller man that you belittled for over a year as being scared to fight you is cowardly.

Idk why you keep throwing out this nutty stance as legit. You trying to tell me JC Chavez never fought a guy faster then him til Sweet Pea Whitaker or that when he did fight guys faster then him he didn't throw body shots?????

Sh^t man Margarito was slower then my grandma yet that cat was always throwing body shots against guys.

"Mexican Style" involves taking punches & showing durability in your biggest fights AND still dancing with the girl you took to the prom (respect to Sean O'Grady lol) which means throwing some body shots.

Agree. Even if Abel thought GGG didn't win you kinda gotta back your guy & give some more loyal-like responses, "I thought it was a close fight...", but yea outright high 5ing Canelo on the W is weird as f#ck.

That said I've stood by the general opinion that Abel is ****** so its not shocking to me he doesn't know better to back up his guy better.

I mean I guess I can understand people who might respect Abel more for "telling the truth" as Abel sees it, but to me the greater good here is backing up your guy even if you gotta tell a lil white lie or carefully navigate what you say to not high 5 Canelo so much & sell your guy out.

Asked a follow up on why he did that

“If I start to make excuses about Golovkin, then I’m taking away from the victory of Canelo, and that’s ridiculous. We as coaches can only coach them and do the best we can in the gym and have a game plan. When we get in there, they see things that maybe are better for them. We can’t force them to do something they don’t want to do." - Able Sanchez

So if Sanchez wanted him to fight Mexican Style with Mexican Style not run away from it that was the plan before the fight he told him over and over to do it during the fight then why didn't GGG do it? Sounds like Sanchez throwing GGG under the bus saying listen I told him what to do but GGG was shook don't blame this on me LMAO

Why not even join consensus and say the fight could have gone either way? Many of us gave it to Golovkin so it wouldn't matter. Abel hasn't done anything to be considered a good trainer. Look at how bad he's done with Barrera, Gassiev and Cuadras. If somebody goes to the summit, it's not because of Abel.

You are very bias. This just an attack on GGG who you have always disliked and rooted against. What Able said is in quotes and in English and doesn't need you to translate it. Sanchez NEVER used the words RUNNING AWAY or SHOOK. That was you putting words in his mouth he never said. When Canelo went backward most of the first fight you said nothing about him being shook or running away. When Canelo goes backward it's skillful boxing and counter punching. If GGG goes backward for any reason he is shook and running away by your hypocritical double standard. The polls show that most fight fans thought GGG won and you aren't LMAO over that.
