If it's a close fight he will always get the victory, especially if it's in Las Vegas.

I knew before I made this thread the narrow-minded folk would bring up Floyd. I'm talking about from here on out.

The scorecards were close at the weekend and one of the judges was the one that scored the first to Golovkin. Golovkin would have won if he had done better.

It’s obvious Canelo is scored differently from every other fighter and will be given every somewhat close round

If getting shutout by Mayweather results in a judge giving him 6 rounds and 4 And 3 by the other 2 wasn’t obvious enough

The results of the Lara and Golovkin fights should really Hammer in that in. In all 3 fights he lost at least 8 rounds but somehow managed to get a Victory or a bogus draw in all of them

Add in the Trout , Cotto scorecards and Khan ( untill he got knocked the f.uck out ) it’s plain to see he isn’t scored the way other fighters are

It’s just the way it is he’s the $ man and the business aspect and the revenue he generates will always Trump the sport aspect of making it a level playing field

He got the win , cool but all the people on here that actually defend the decision like they did in the Lara fight and actually deserved it is beyond ******ed

                  No **** sherlock.

                  Welcome to fn boxing.

If Canelo was American nobody would watch him (even if he was still gifted all the decisions), actually had he been fighting in Mexico nobody would watch him there either as they recognize legitimate champions and not favored fighters.

It's because he's a Mexican that fights in America and puts on the whole patriotic thing that makes him money (from the American Mexican community), added with the fact that Social Media has made things worse for top boxing, more reach to ridiculous casuals.
