I can still see Pacquiao outboxing Canelo. Pacquiao is the better boxer. Canelo is not just going to tee off on him. He has to hit him to hurt him, and you're underrating pacquiao's speed and defense.

If you like pac even a tiny bit you would not want this to happen. Pac would get hurt bad. This is not some fairy tale.

Pac's not fast enough anymore and big enough to evade and take Canelo's sharp counters. You have to be an idiot to suggest a 38 year old Pac stands a chance against a prime Canelo.

And I am old school pac fan since he beat Barrera. Never missed a fight

I don't see any chance for pac. He's truly past it now let alone competing with a young prime beast I'm camel. Please no.

Pac's not fast enough to evade Canelo? lol

Are you saying Canelo is faster than Pacquiao?

Pacquiao is faster than Canelo, and he's taken harder punches than Canelo's

He also has the power speed and stamina to hurt Canelo.

This is not the one sided beatdown you're making it out to be. Pacquiao has a legitimate chance to beat Canelo even at his weight.

I also don't put much stock in the size differential.

Canelo is a tiny middleweight. Floyd is taller than Canelo.

That extra weight isn't that consequential because canelo is not a devastating knockout puncher, he gets you by setting you up and with accuracy. Regardless, Pacquiao has eaten clean shots from Margarito, Cotto and Mosley, he has the chin to stand up to Canelo, if canelo can even land enough on him to hurt him.

And pacquiao can definitely hurt him, he's hurt much taller guys.

I respect your resilience, if only fishnets could see this thread and your confidence in Pacquiao. Would also be a good way for fishnets to give the woman beater *Floyd a big f u as well. Fishnets could steal his thunder for a change.

Another hard hitter you've left out was a roided Marquez

            but cool posts

End of the day it's up to Pacquiao though. I mean I watch his last fight with Matthyse and I still think he's got it. The power is there, the speed is there, the reflexes are there, but he might be feeling old and is hiding it.

If I picture him in the ring with Canelo I can legitimately see him outboxing canelo. The size difference isn't that huge because canelo is short and is a tiny middleweight.

Also he looks much smaller and less ripped since the failed drug tests.

Pacquiao doesn't look like a shot fighter to me.

good points, reason why I wouldn't mind it, especially when you look at the other possibilities.

he can lose to a bigger prime canelo going for yet another belt in another division and get PAID, or he can lose to Crawford/loma and not get paid.
