Bu-bu-but I thought Kovalev could only fight on HBO??? That's the bullchit excuse Krooked Kathy's been feeding us for all these years. It's the supposed reason why he ducked fights with Stevenson and Beterbiev on Showtime for more money. Now suddenly they're able to abandon HBO and sell out to the highest bidder ESPN?

Was Krooked Kathy lying before or is she lying now?

not much kovalev can improve on at this point,he's gonna give Alvarez trouble for the first three rounds,gas and then Alvarez is gonna put a beating on him till he knocks him out..kov had a great run though,much respect for taking all the young guns he could in the division

Seems fair...its out of Main Events' turf, the tri-state region, where they've appeared to have..."influence"...over the judging.

Alvarez will also benefit from a supportive latino crowd. Main Events could still get the judges they want...but getting the fight out of NY-NJ is encouraging, that we're going to get a fairly judged fight, should Alvarez fail to eliminate them from the equation...

Kovalev hasn't looked the same since Ward 1. His punch resistance has gotten worse, he has bad stamina, and he doesn't seem to care anymore. It seems like as his fame grew along with his ego he stopped training as seriously. He didn't want to listen to his trainer and grew more lackadaisical as his career moved on. If he took the sport more seriously he could of had another 5 years at the top.
