Canelo would do awful things to Lemieux, remember what GGG did?! Damn Lemieux is a great puncher but should go after Murata if anything.

it'll be interesting to see if the wbc chooses to enforce their mandatory on Canelo again. Last time they did he dropped his belt and avoided the fight for 2 yrs. He's entitled to a voluntary which could be lemieux but something tells me that the 1 punch ko may have turned Oscar off to that fight. The wbc also picks and chooses who they force to face mandatories because Stevenson hasn't faced one in years so who knows what stance they'll take.

Only way I would wanna see this fight is if Canelo fights like he did against GGG. If he boxes it'll be boring, it'll just be another BJS vs Lemmy all over again.

Well, to be fair, when you fight back-to-back fights against
a man who was considered by some to be P4P#1 & among
the most dangerous punchers in the sport, maybe you
deserve a little bit easier fight next. Golovkin had his little
tune-up against Vanes in-between Canelo fights,
and Lemieux is a much more interesting, dangerous, and
deserving opponent for Canelo than Vanes was for GGG.

I don't mind seeing Lemieux challenge Canelo, but I would
rather see Lemieux exact revenge on Saunders.
I'd rather see Lemieux teach Steve Bunce how to properly
          pronounce his name!

I doubt golden boy will waste a ppv on this. And if so then wbc should strip him. Lemieux is a bum

It can't be any more obvious that Canelo is blatantly avoiding Saunders. That's the only fight he should be interested in next, for obvious reasons (getting the belt he doesn't have, fiighting a fighter about his own age in his prime as well, undefeated as well and one who schooled the guy he wants to fight next).

Fighting both Mayweather and Lara was a total nightmare for Canelo. He evidently can't deal with elusive, cowardly, defensive, backpedaling runners. BTW Mayweather didn't even run in their fight, maybe he just did for a round or two, but the reason was obvious, Canelo was green, ****** and inexperienced as heck, tried to box the boxer instead of bullying him and roughing him up like Maidana smartly did, not to mention that he was drained and weak, he was a corpse in the weigh-in.

Bottom line, defensive and skilled boxers are a total nightmare for Canelo. So BJS IS A NIGHTMARE to him and if he got schooled by the latter even in Vegas and got a robbery decision, I doubt so many people would be ****** enough to keep paying PPV fees to see fraudulent decisions in favor of Canelo.

Every time Bunce talks about Lemooo I want a glass of milk lol

Beating Spike doesn't make Lemieux the top contender again,
but its the easiest fight to make, and there will certainly be
a highlight-reel KO at the end.

But this plan could change depending on what's happening
with HBO now!? It will interesting to see what network all
                      these fighters end-up on.
