jeez is there no end to these idiots, people cant even recognize a razor close great fight, i never liked ward but i dislike him even more now

canelo lost more of the late rounds than he won and barely scrapped the last round, maybe

maybe its because ward and canelo have things in common, like the protection of vegas judges for one, thats a FACT btw not an opinion

I saw an earlier article that said by th etime all the ppv receipts are in Golovkin will have earned $60 million plus from these two ppvs. Plus endorsements.

And this for the 97K fighter from some country that most NSB posters couldn't place on a map if their lives depended on it.

Ward was supposed to have all that. And he doesn't. It's not Golovkin and Kovalev fans who are salty and jealous. It's Ward himself!

I'm a Ward fan, but I can't agree with this. Golovkin was game until the final bell, and won the 12th on a judge's card. I thought Alvarez won, but I didn't see him "break" anyone.

Why would Ward be jealous of GGG? Lol seriously. There's nothing GGG has over Ward in legacy or ability in the ring.

Ward has literally one upped him in EVERYTHING in their careers. GGG was just exposed as a hype job and got his face broken by the little man who he begged to fight Mexican Style and then backed away from a Mexican Style fight.



It don't get no more embarrassing then that which is why he ran to the lockeroom leaving his trainer to stand and answer the questions. The same trainer who threw GGG under the bus for not fighting the fight he told GGG to fight. LMAO

I respect Ward but of course he will say that. It was largely believed that he was breaking down Kovalev and controlling their fight in their rematch even though it appeared that Kovalev was winning more rounds. People will argue that it was low blows or whatever that ended it. The bottom line is Kovalev looked like he was going to continue to weaken down the stretch and Ward would have eventually dominated him the rest of the 8th if it wasn’t stopped, and in rounds 9 through 12. And we see what happened against Alvarez and Kovalev.

And that’s what Ward is doing, comparing Canelo’s fight plan to his own with a desire to educate fans that it’s more than just landing more punches but the optics and what perception the fighter puts on the judges with respect to who is actually “controlling” the fight. Roy Jones Jr mentioned that throughout the fight on HBO, that Canelo was controlling the fight, even though he said he had GGG slightly winning. It’s about what the JUDGES are seeing right in front of them and how they are being swayed.
