no he didn't. And sanchez said after the fight GGG lost the 12th round. Sanchez also told GGG heading into the 8th he was losing. Canelo took 4 of the first 6 rounds with judges agreeing on every round. GGG needed to win 5 of the remaining 6 to win the fight which he clearly didn't do. And clearly lost the 7th round according to Sanchez to spark him telling him he's losing. That's 5 rounds at minimum heading into the 8th. Sanchez gave Canelo the 12th that's 6 right there. You only need to give Canelo either 8, 9 and he's already won the fight. GGG rallied in the 10th, 11th but then gave away the 12th at times running from Canelo. And his rally had more to do with Canelo getting winded then GGG doing anything. Canelo won, backed GGG up all night, phuked his face up and sent him emotionally destroyed running to the showers like a bytch without a interview. LMAOThis right here. I like Andre but I think his comments are a little bit hyperbole. It was a close fight, nobody broke the other. Canelo used a different tactic that was successful for the first half of the fight, however he ultimately was fatigued and later hurt. Even if Canelo eked the 12th out on some cards it was Golovkin who was controlling tempo the majority of the later rounds. Hard for a "broken" fighter to do this...Comment

He very clearly said he thought triple GGG did his thing, and it might be a draw or a couple rounds for GGG.
Roy had a problem with Abel talking it up, and GGG boxing, a different game plan than was expected, and explained why people would be inclined to give close rounds to Canelo because of that.
He said several times he would probably give it to GGG
He never once said he thought GGG lost, or that he thought Canelo won. He did say he leans towards GGG and then later that he would probably have given it to GGG, but he cant take it from Canelo, because Canelo came and stood infront of him.
Go watch his interview again.
He basically thinks GGG probably won, but he is soured by the fact that GGG didn't stand and trade punches like Abel talked it up, and gives lots of credit to Canelo for coming to fight. As he should.
Canelo manned up and fought a hell of a fight.
here is the first link that popped up.
