Mikey deserves the Fighter If The Year award. He's not scared to call out the biggest names - Thurman, Spence, Loma.

I'd be surprised if its lined up this year unless they are putting it as the Wilder vs Fury co-main. And idk if thats viable with the money Mikey wants vs what the undercard money would be.

So if its gonna be its own PPV main event I think the fight isn't likely in the cards til January at the absolute earliest & January historically hasn't been a PPV boxing friendly month so maybe March or April is the more likely landing zone.

And if thats the case there is no hurry with getting anything done & Spence is likely focusing on some other fight for later this year & Mikey's just trying to keep his name in the hat for Spence's first opponent of 2019.
