Where do you rank Canelo among the Mexican ATG's list?

Does he make your top 5? Or barely makes your top 10? Thoughts?

He’s arguably in top 10 but time is on his side and he can very well work his way down the list.

Top 20 but probably between 15-20.

I think the top 10 in somewhat of an order would be Chavez, Olivares, Juan Manuel Marquez, Sanchez, Zarate, Barrera, Lopez, Morales, Saldivar, Canto.

The next guys outside the top 10 that are still deserving of being ahead IMO are the likes of Arizmendi, Zurrita, Azteca, Rafael Marquez, Chiquita, Roman, Castillo, Wright (Mexico born). The list is long and full of many excellent fighters so if's often hard to rank guys in their 20's especially when they've had so many close calls go there way that many disagreed with.

Most people feel he's 0-2 or at best 0-1-1 vs. GGG and didn't deserve the Lara win. He just doesn't have the definitive wins yet and the failed tests are an *.

I do think he'll be around 10-12 in a couple of years though.

Somewhere in the lower half of the top 25.

I don't see how getting shutout by Floyd, 2 highly disputed wins over GGG, a disputed win over Lara, and the BS open scoring in the Trout fight that made Trout switch his style when he was either winning or very close, elevates Canelo among the greatest ever from Mexico.

I would take a guy like Chiquita Gonzalez over him even though Canelo is seen as more accomplished.
