*********.com reached unbeaten jr welterweight contender Juan Urango earlier this week at his training headquarters in Miami, Florida. "I have been training for two months, in a private, secluded place," said Urango to *********.com. "I am a man who just concentrates on his task ahead." For Urango (16-0-1, 13 KOs), the task is Friday's battle for the vacant IBF 140lb world title against Naoufel Ben Rabah (24-1, 13 KOs) on Warriors Boxing big ESPN2-televised RING WARRIORS card at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida. Urango says his left hand is 100% after undergoing an operation following an injury suffered in training late last year.

Do you feel your recent inactivity (ten months) will affect you on Friday?

"No, not at all, I consider myself an athlete with discipline. I do not drink or smoke, and I only dedicate myself to my work. I know the inactivity will not create any problems for me."

What do you know of Rabah?

"I watched three videos of him. He doesn't impress me at all. I can only tell you I am so ready for this fight. I can tell he likes to run a lot and doesn't know how to fight on the inside. As soon as he gets hit, he starts running."

Where do you get your punching power?

"My thing is natural, since I was child. I have been trough a lot in this sport, with many amateurs fights (160-30) which was very important."

What type of fighter do you consider yourself?

"I consider myself a pressure fighter, who likes to exchange in the inside. My biggest weapon is my punching power. I hope I can be recognized as a good fighter and a good person, a good Colombian. I have a good character and I am very disciplined. I treat people with respect and I do not abuse others, like many other fighters do. In the ring, I will show what I am made of."

How you think this fight will end?

"I believe it will not make it to twelve rounds. I will pressure him with lots of lateral movement. I believe, in the name of Jesus and with all my heart, I will become world champion. I dedicate this victory to my country (Colombia)."

Urango's trainer Alejandro "Pupi" De La Torre, adds "He is in great shape. I never thought, after the operation (left hand), that he could have a total recovery. I always thought the training will be a good one and that he will give his all, but I never thought he will end up at 100%. I thought he was going to fall short. In reality, he gave all he got and today I can assure you he can hit harder with his operated hand than the other. We have no other predictions with Urango, he will apply pressure from the first round and he will try to connect his hands to end the fight quick. There is nothing else to say about this type of fighter like Urango. He is a strong fighter, who always go forward and there are no tactical plans. There is nothing else, it is what it is."
