8-4 in either direction is more than plausible. You could make a good case for Canelo winning 1,2,5,6,7,8,9,12 and even 3 was pretty close. But equally I wouldn't begrudge someone who thought GGG won 8 rounds, it was that kind of fight. Just another case where too many people were influenced by commentary imho.

Ill break it down, Round 1 was close I saw the judges gave it to GGG I actually gave it to canelo for his ring generalship and the next two rounds were clearly his so 3-0 canelo just like the first fight he started good.

Then the next 3 rounds GGG clearly outworked him and got the better of the exchanges and was punishing canelo with that jab so 3-3 now.

Round 7 could of gone either way I thought ggg did a little more but for argument purposes I’ll give the round to canelo and in round 8 another close round but GGG landed some hard shots towards the end and edged it so 4-4.

Now this is when GGG took over the fight he clearly outworked got the better of the exchanges and landed the harder shots from here on out he clearly won rounds 9-11 so now 7-4 Golovkin.

Last round ggg was doing work again but canelo came up strong in the last minute and I thought he edged it so final score 7-5 for Golovkin.

I seriously can’t believe some of you call yourselves boxing fans and can’t score a fight properly.

i know you arent a canelo fanboy, neither is larryx, big dunny1, robbie barrett, j razor which makes it all the more embarrassing that you are celebrating more than the damn mexicans. i try to be as objective as possible when scoring and a lot of the press had the same scorecards i did for both fights 116-112, let me guess you had ggg losing the 1st fight and the jacobs fight too. scoring 8 rounds for canelo is a damn joke, either you dont know how to score a fight (plausible) or you are bias as hell.

I didn't like GGG in 12, he had a very good cameo in the beginning of the round and then Canelo took over, landed power and bossed him around the ring.

1 was close so we're 7 and 8, and 5.
