No robbery though. Go back and look at the 9th round. I never thought GGG would let a short dude stand right in front of him and push him back with body shots. Also, GGG started pushing his right instead of throwing it. He look bad in the 9th. Canelo was throwing hard punches all night; GGG was slapping at time, particularly with his over hand right.

GGG will be older in the 3rd fight. Alvaroid will destroy him with body shots. Gotta give it to Alvaroid, he fought a great fight even though I thought GGG won 115-113. Alvaroid made the adjustment in the 2nd fight.

Folks are saying GGG can't catch a break. He did when he fought Jacobs. Jacobs won....by a few points.

Yes, Canelo controlled the first 2/3 of this fight. He stayed in the middle of the ring and went to work on GGG. He backed GGG up with assaults to the head and the body. GGG's corner even said he was losing the fight. Even though GGG controlled the last 1/3 of the fight, it can be argued he came up short on points. It may have been a draw at best. He won the first fight. He lost this second.

Canelo is 28 but getting smarter about the business side. He knows in 2019, GGG will be 37 and in 2020, he will be 38. There are NO other fights or money he can make or get like in a 3rd GGG fight. There is a big difference in that money and say a fight against Sanders, Charlo, or Jacobs. Oscar knows that too. And Oscar couldn’t be happier with another decision that is arguably disputed among fans and boxing experts. Get GGG back in the ring before people start saying he is too old. Don’t lose that money 3rd fight.

Canelo has to make as much money as possible because he has maybe 10-12 years, the average shelf life now for a well fit and healthy great fighter. Mayweather didn’t look all that great against Manny or Berto at 38 years old but he still looked very good. Only Bernard Hopkins defied the odds really, at 38 and above, defending his titles, winning additional titles in higher divisions, beating good fighters, and going the distance with other good fighters from 39 to 49 years old. Hopkins fought the likes of Taylor, Dawson, Joppy, Tarver, Cloud, Winky Wright, Pascal, Murat, Kovalev, & Calzaghe. I don’t believe GGG can be great late in his career like that. Get GGG back in the ring ASAP, like in May 2019 like Abel said yesterday, and then move on to other fighters. Canelo maybe can fight a mandoratory in late December or early January and then GGG in May 2019. GGG will be 37 years old then, Canelo 30. Maximize your career Canelo monetary wise also.

It is enough. In the first fight GGG won, in the second fight it was draw, in the third fight ggg will get knocked out badly. GGG should retire or fight Vanes Martirosyans. Third fight is not interesting because Canelo wins 100%. GGG is done.

Canelo should fight Charlo, Saunders and Jacobs. These are interesting and intruguing fights.

So you had it 8-0 going into the 9th ? I had him in control 6/7/8, but that's not the first 2/3 of the fight.

I think Canelo will 'outlast' Golovkin and eventually get a decisive win. I doubt anyone knocks the other out though.

For now, there is too much money there for III not to happen, and its arguably Canelo's least risky fight, while being the most lucrative.

Then Canelo can go on to winner Jacobs/Derevyanchenko etc. He won't fight Saunders.
