finally somone who ain't as scared as the pretty girl, damn very surprised at the comments especially from those that used to back up margarito.

some of you guys are fooled by winky, winky don't punch hard, he has pressure that it. This works into margaritos style, margartio can go 12 hard rounds and we know winky can go 11. So what does this mean? it means that margarito has a great oppertunity to defeat winky cause winkys over confidence will get him ko'd.


you guys must not have seen vasquez v. wright, it took a guy who swings round punchs to knockdown winky and margarito has those round punchs and he can take anything winky has and dish it out.

Winky comes forward, but has he proved he can fight a fight on the inside and be willing to stay on the inside? NO! Not with taylor and surly not with vargas. Sure he'll come forward but unlike margarito, winky will not stay in the pocket with a fighter for longer periods of time. Margarito will stand his gound and pound away... a fight that winky will not fight in, winky will be the one backing up in this fight i gureentee you. I got margarito by decision, possably by tko.

no way this is going down....tony alreayd showed that at 154 he is not a force with his lackluster showing against santos...hell he was getting rocked by him.....steer clear of the winkman would be my advice

To the contrary. Santos has been and upper-tier fighter at 154 for years, and if anything Tony showed he can hang with the big boys up there in his fight with Santos. Wright has no more power than Santos, so if Santos didn't drop Tony then Winky will have a hard time doing it.

Judging by Sam Soliman and Angel Hernandez's success against Wright, Margarito definitely has a chance to win this fight. Margarito doesn't hit has hard as Taylor, as some of you mentioned, but he does throw a lot more punches and that could make up for it.

Winky's coolness under pressure and success at 160 tells me he will win this fight though, much as I'd like to see Tony get the victory.

Tony is just a bit smaller. This is also supported by the fact that Tony weighed in on fight night at 160 vs Santos, while Wright weighed in at 166 on fight night vs Taylor.

If this does somehow come off then I got Wright by competitive but clear UD. Margarito is a huge welter who fits in fine at 154. Winky is just too damned good at that weight though.

I see it the same way. This fight will get Tony a lot more respect than what he's gotten by some lately. He'll put up a good fight but Wright will be able to stand in with Tony and do enough to win.
