It’s about HBO’s commentary bias, inconsistency and incompetence.

Now they praise Canelo because he was coming forward more, last time they praised him for being the backfoot counter puncher.

They praised Ward for “rallying” himself in the second half of the first Kovalev fight, but here they praise Canelo for his strong start and that’s what gave him the edge.

What they call low blow in most occasion, they call “borderline body shot” in another.

    They flip flop every time.

Canelo started better, GGG was dominant from the 5th round on, but now they pull a different narrative.

Ahh suddenly Canelo deserves it because he was making GGG back away somewhat? Hell, in this case GGG deserved to win the first fight at least 10-2, if not 12-0.
G got robbed back to back.

            Sadly he did.

At least with the draw he still held on to his belts. Now they just subtly robbed him by a tiny point, either way they say. But it’s not just a small point, it stains his career with an undeserved L on his record, and leaves him with no belts.

the judges rallied for canelo. things looked bleek but they came up with the goods when it mattered like round 10 for ward and round 12 for canelo. great comeback judges!

When did they start scoring fights a half fight at a time? You score it round by round, sounds like Canelo was well ahead going into the last few rounds,

Like Ward, GG stayed consistent and focused, and I thought he won the fight. I was really surprised at the judge's decisions tonight. Really surprised.

Point being Ward started comeback much sooner than ggg did.
