Why is it that other countries tend to be so nationalistic? In the US, we welcome athletes of all sorts and will cheer for them. You guys want to act like it's some weakness of ours.
Sorry I didn't catch this beforehand, Roll....it was the same prediction I had for their 1st bout...
Alvarez by close Decision.
Always felt he was the better, more well rounded boxer...had more in the bag....I think that's common knowledge now.
PS~ The threadstarter is an anti-American garbage fan...he's the one who was hating on Spence just because he wasn't fighting enough...lol...that was his angle.
If Crawford-Spence could attain 1.5M buys, the promoters would work together. But it's a fight that only does 100-200K right now. It's only a fight that hardcore fans care about. Look at Ward-Kovalev, huge fight for us nerds, but neither fight touched 175K buys. They barely hit 300K through the two fights combined.
One is a Mexican, the other one is a Kazakh.
They're presenting a second huge fight in America.
Is this not an embarrassment to American fighters?
What exactly does this show?
We have Crawford, and we have Spence.
But they're not fighting any time soon.
It's terrible.
this is boxing at its best, no need for flags, i dont care where they are born as long as we keep getting good fights like this...
Would be nice to see our own fighters do it on their own without leeching off someone else's popularity.
Jacobs vs Charlo would be a huge fight in my mind.
Sprinkle it with good undercards and you'll have a PPV worthy event.
Thread is not focused on flags and all that foreign, nationalistic thing.
It's more on if foreign fighters can do big fights, why can't US fighters?
It's not like we don't have any.
I don't want a Cnelo vs GGG trilogy,
but if our own fighters are not stepping up to make big fights,
we might as well clamor for another GGG/Cnelo fight.
