I'd never want to go back to the "golden era" where you look at a guy's record and it's 99% opponents from within a 500 mile radius of his gym, a few from the opposite coast, and one Brit.

to be honest i think matt macklin and MTK due to the fighters they manage and the sheer numbers of the fighters actually can tell warren what to do.

I wouldnt be surprised if theres a slow takeover going on. Whats Warren gunna have on BT Sport next year? MTK will want Saunders getting as much money off Hearn in the US. Framptons gunna want unifications in the US. Fury gunna get knocked out and go on a huge binge. BT Sport aint gunna put up with Yarde against Eastern European doormen, Caterall/Davies/Flanagan round robins. Then look whos slid into Warrens Boxnation spot, MTK pulls all their guys back and Warren left holding his nuts.

I’ve never understood the fascination with loving or hating fighters based on where they come from or what their ethnicity is. If you can fight and are worth watching that should be enough and if you are fighting somebody else who can fight and is worth watching even better.
