Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: If Canelo Fights Like Last Time - No Way He Wins

IT IS TAKE two for the biggest fight in world boxing this weekend when the long-awaited rematch between Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin lands in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. The pair created a very special event a year ago at the same venue and it was such a shame that such a sizzling occasion that lived up to its billing was diminished by, to put it kindly, erratic scoring by two of the judges.

Because the third one has a conscience and couldn't go though with it.

Well I guess Adalaide Byrd wasn't erratic - she was very consistent in giving almost every round to Canelo !

But I guess he is counting Byrd as one of the erratic ones, and am guessing the other reference is to the one who gave the 7th to Canelo, which was possibly the most definitive round of the fight (but to Golovkin - even Bryd gave him that one).

byrds card took the spotlight off the judge who scored it a draw. to give canelo 6 rounds is disgraceful aswell.

Just watched the fight for the first time last night w/ no commentary. It's was a close fight. I gave Canelo 1 - 3 and 11 & 12 (rounds I don't think there was much to debate.)

It's not hard to find one more round for him in that fight. 6 and 10 could have easily went to him as well.

            A draw wasn't a crazy decision.

            118 - 110 was outlandish though.

Like someone else already said rounds 1-3 Canelo
11 and 12 with round 10 either way.

              DRAW.

We all know your scorecard was SHT. Ypu gave every round to ggg. Hell even threw in some 10-8 rounds for good measure.

EXACTLY! Draw was fair or 7-5 GGG. These jackasses BYRD'd the other way and gave GGG every single round.

The 7th was a bad judgement but IMO what was worse was Moratti giving the 3rd to GGG. That was one of Canelos best rounds but no one is bringing that up??? And makes it 114-114. And were back to the same scores...
