Why are the announcing GGG as the Ring champ?? yet have the Ring champ vacant?

    Why are the announcing GGG as the Ring champ?? yet have the Ring champ vacant?

    I know they gave him some belt after all that Canelo stuff but why are they calling him the Ring champ yet they have it vacant?

                          Ring is owned by Golden Boy Promotions. Why does anyone still recognize it as an independent credible championship? It became meaningless the second Golden Boy purchased it, interfered with the rankings, changed all the rules, started selectively enforcing the rules, started stripping Showtime fighters, breaking the rules to assist HBO fighters, etc.
