Canelo is actually a pretty good boxer, the Trout fight comes to mind. If Canelo decides to box he will have an easy day. Golovkin is only effective when someone stands in front of him.

So Canelo landed 0.805 punches to every one punch Trout landed. Power punches Canelo = 96. Trout = 95, so Trout landed 0.989 punches for every one punch Canelo landed.
Jabs landed by Trout = 59 and by Canelo = 28. Canelo landed 0.474 jabs for every one jab Trout landed or just less than one-half as many jabs.

And I wouldn't read much into anything that happens at a weigh in either. Both guys will perform at their peaks tomorrow night. Canelo rushing GGG will have no bearing on what goes down in the ring.

Anyone who thinks GGG cant box has no clue what they’re seeing. It’s funny. Two of his last three fights were against guys who were elite boxers whose skill were supposed to be better than his. And yet the guy will no boxing skill was the consensus winner not buy plowing through. Funny!

Lee Whyle can explain it to you, watch way of the hunter. Or don’t and say dumb **** that people who know boxing see as, well dumb.


There’s a lot surrounding that fight though. Besides the fact GGG would have won comfortably if it went to the cards, he was sick and prob should of canceled the fight, he was in the midst of learning a new style, and had some other issues.Ouma looked in championship form and was in great shape.

Yeah, the whole thing was fake. Cheeseball stuff. Canelo's boys making ridiculous gestures of indignation as Oscar "holds them back." Finally Canelo turns to the crowd, flexes and throws a few "I'm really, really angry and I'm ready to kill" punches.
