Would you be surprised if GGG actually outboxes Canelo?

GGG's willingness to get hit and use constant pressure gives people that impression that he's not skilled but I feel like GGG's boxing skills are still really overlooked. People like to keep thinking that he's this face first, come forward plodder with no boxing IQ (even though he's had an extensive amateur background) when really he's a skilled, calculating boxer-puncher like Joe Louis.

Would it shock you if GGG actually breaks down Canelo using technical skills? Wouldn't really surprise me.

He already did that unless you think it was an actual draw. I don't...

Canelo's ability to keep backing off away from GGG for 12 rounds is not a reflection of any boxing skills.

GGG out boxed and beat Canelo the first time, and I will not be surprised to see him do it again. Although I think the second fight will end by KO/TKO...

Yes it would surprise me a lot...WHY??? Canelo is the faster fighter with the better punch variety, his foot work is superior and his I.Q seems higher. I believe in the 1st fight he fought kinda of scared and was fearful of the myth of GGG like Ward was of Kovalev in the 1st fight. Do not be surprised to see a more aggressive Canelo more willing to fight on the inside this time around as he had a lot of success there in the 1st fight.

to me outboxing someone means landing more shots on them then theyve landed on you. thats what golovkin did to canelo first time round. i think many people seem to equate 'outboxing' to fighting on the back foot.

Both will have to do MORE than the first fight...

Alvarez will need to be more active down the stretch & GEE will need to throw more than just a jab & take more chances (both).
