Hope they don't take him to juvenile detention on accident.

He needs to focus. He might suffer a defeat if he continues doing this stuff.

I seriously doubt that. I see far more maturity in Spence. I'm willing to bet that Spence does not go down that road. He was pretty frustrated with Davis acting like a child next to him at the fights last week and even pushed him away. He is not interested in that sht.

supposedly floyd bought the kid a house and furnished it so he could get out of a bad neighborhood... and the kid sold the furniture!

davis appears to be spectacularly dumb. he can hardly talk and he hasn't even taken a beating yet. if he thinks adrien broner is somebody to emulate he is doign a great job. he'll be washed up in 3-4 years.

He's on his Twitter saying nothing happened and fighting with Shakur Stevenson now.

i think spence is just a good, simple kid. got really drunk the other night, but i didn't see him picking fights or acting like a delinquent. i just think he's dumb as ****, like a lot of these guys who fight for a living. it is to be expected.

believe me, if you can make money doing something else you're better off not getting your brain rattled around for work. just look at what boxing reduces most of these guys to. most of them don't end up well off when you consider that they retire at 35-40 and stop making money! and some of them can hardly talk! this is a brutal sport. you have to try and do whatever you can to make money while you can still talk!

I guarantee Spence will never get himself into a situation like this. He is not of that cloth. I hope Robert Easter backs away from Broner and Davis because Easter seems like a really cool guy with a higher level of maturity.

Considering these kids (Broner, Davis) have good people working for them getting them good deals, good exposure you'd think they'd try and advise them on their lifestyles too. Davis ballooning up between fights and hanging with Broner is a bad idea. I don't even think he'll get to Broner's level of accomplishments or status in the game. I don't think Mayweather is a good person or role model but at least he lived the life of an elite athlete and sacrificed a lot. Davis just wants to be Mayweather without the work. It's like wanting to be a billionaire but you can't sacrifice your weekends. Mayweather should be a better mentor/they should pick his brain or follow his career lead better but maybe they have legit beef and Mayweather just said **** him?

Broner I think they just let him be since they know he'll never be special but he can still sell tickets and the controversy draws attention. I think Davis should be nurtured better because he's not a lost cause - yet.
Davis was out drunk and got arrested. That is on him. Nothing to do with Floyd. He wasn't there. I don't understand why you are mentioning Floyd?

I notice you don't suggest ODH needs to be a better mentor to Canelo so why would you post this here?

If Davis fails its on him, not Floyd, broner or anyone else.

I understand your point. I don't think Spence will be involved with stuff like this either.

Davis got into a fight. This is silly and ****** but it isn't a major crime. The booked him on a DP and released him.

Spence is a really good guy that decided to get a nice buzz last saturday which is perfectly fine and he let his inhibitions out but even then, he never gets antagonistic and delinquent at all. I dont see him becoming over the top and lavish in his lifestyle....more like a guy who appreciates his grandma type of guy. But I hope he doesnt hang around the sport into his late 30's. He has a calm confidence about himself.
