On the other hand, who has been 'the same' after facing Canelo?
Besides Mayweather, of course.

fighter to ever put him on his duff, and others like James
Kirkland, Chavez Jr, and Larry Mosley have never fought
again after losing to Canelo. Even more others have faded
into obscurity after losing to Canelo.

On the other hand, Lemieux recorded the most impressive
knockout so-far in his career, over Stevens, after losing to
Golovkin, and Martin Murray went on to beat Gabe Rosado,
which was arguably one of the most notable wins of his
career. Kel Brook also came back to score a good stoppage
win over Siarhei Rabchanka.

Golovkin won’t be the same after the first Canelo fight he’s retiring after this one

Golovkin couldn't land any decent punches in the first, that isn't going to change in the rematch. TOO SLOW. Canelo just needs concentrate on taking away the weak jab (that Golovkin had to shorten and take all power off just to land) and it's in the bag.

Couldn't be further from the truth, terrible analogy really disappointing actually for a longterm member. Golovkin gave away a few rounds but pressured Canelo and was able to land often. The jab had Canelo on the backfoot and after 7 or 8 rounds he was looking for his corner. If Canelo can make the adjustments i lean towards him to win a UD but he lost the first fight only a fool or troll could not agree.

If Canelo beats GGG, Cotto will claim, since he "beat" Canelo who beat GGG, its almost as if he didnt duck GGG and if he had the balls to defend his lineal title against him, he would have beat GGG.

I agree I think Nelo should win the rematch. He just needs to make a few more stands. Will get tons of credit. Myself and Anyone I respect who isn’t on this forum had GGG winning first fight. I’m not gonna sway to any 8-4 Nelo theories.
